How do I cancel my DocTrail Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find DocTrail, and tap Cancel Subscription.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your documents are stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud) with encryption at rest and in transit. Sensitive data like Tax File Numbers are detected on-device and never sent to any AI service. You can also choose to store documents locally on your device only.
How do I delete my account and data?
Email us at privacy@doctrail.com.au with your request and we will delete your account and all associated data promptly.
What tax categories does DocTrail support?
DocTrail covers all major ATO deduction categories including work expenses, vehicle, property, investments, self-education, home office, and more. Categories are tailored to your entity type (Individual, Sole Trader, etc.).
Can I use DocTrail for my business?
Yes. DocTrail supports Individual, Sole Trader, Company and Trust entity types. DocTrail Pro unlocks multi-entity management so you can keep records separate for each.
What is the Work From Home deduction rate?
DocTrail uses the ATO fixed rate method at 70¢ per hour for the 2024–25 and 2025–26 financial years, in line with ATO PS LA 2023/1.
